Laguna Atascosa is a 45,000 acre wildlife sanctuary known to host over 405 species of birds and many native animals. Two tour roads (3 miles and 15 miles), and many foot trails are open to the public year-round.

18 miles east on FM 106 until it dead ends at Buene Vista Road. Turn left (north) on Buena Vista Road and go 3 miles to the Visitor Center.
